Orion is one of the most recognizable constellations in the sky, known for its bright stars and distinctive shape. Look towards the southeastern sky in the winter months to spot Orion. Cygnus is also known as the Northern Cross, and is part of a larger asterism known as the Summer Triangle.

The bright star Vega, which is one of the brightest stars in the sky, is located near the parallelogram and can help guide you to the constellation. The Lyrid meteor shower, which occurs annually in late April, appears to originate from this constellation.
